SOCAR AQS Participated in Career Fair at ASOIU
Baku, Azerbaijan, 22 December, 2018 – SOCAR AQS participated in a career fair organized by the Career Center of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University.
The event took place in the main building of the University and brought together a number of renowned local and international companies. The event aimed to provide opportunities for the students to interact with potential employers and explore career opportunities with them. According to ASOIU Career Center, the event has gathered about 3000 students and alumnus from various departments and companies from oil & gas, telecommunications, banking, and other sectors of economy.
SOCAR AQS also participated in the fair. During the two hours of the fair, the company representatives interacted with hundreds of attendees and informed them about the existing vacancy openings and the summer internship program of the organization. The students also obtained extensive information on internship opportunities for the first- and second-year students and the trainee (graduate) program at SOCAR AQS. The company representatives also informed the audience on benefits the internship program can offer them.
The Rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, Professor Mustafa Babanli was also among the event participants. He expressed his gratitude for the special attention SOCAR AQS is paying to the University: “We are always glad to see you at our events and appreciate the trust you put our students. We hope this relationship will last for many years to come”.
SOCAR AQS plans to continue cooperation with local universities and offer a variety of opportunities for students and fresh graduates
