The event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic was held in SOCAR AQS
On May 25, 2018, the event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic was held in the head office building of the enterprise. The collective watched the screenplay "The Last Session", dedicated to the history of the Democratic Republic, initiated by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The documentary film about the self-sacrificing lifestyle passed by the founders of the first republic, their imprudent confrontations and the delegation headed to the Paris Peace Conference caused great interest of the participants.
It was noted that on May 28, 1918, the first parliamentary republic in the Muslim East - the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic was created, the state institutions, multiparty system, pluralist parliament were established, and citizens had equal rights regardless of their ethnic origin, gender, religion, or social status in Azerbaijan.
Later, the quiz about the glorious history of the "Republic - 100 years" was held among the employees of the enterprise.
Memorable gifts were presented to the employees who answered the questions thoroughly.
