SOCAR AQS Supports Future Talents Through Internship Program
The SOCAR AQS summer internship program, which involved ten talented students from various universities, has been successfully completed.
By nurturing young talent, this program, as every year, allowed students to gain practical experience and knowledge of the drilling industry.
As part of the program, each student was assigned to a relevant department of SOCAR AQS, and had the opportunity to complete an internship in their specialty. Eldeniz Guliyev, a student of the Faculty of Petroleum Engineering at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) SABAH groups, Farid Asadli, a student of the Azerbaijan-French University, and Fatima Aliyeva, a student of ASOIU, shared their impressions of the program with us. They noted that the SOCAR AQS internship program is an invaluable opportunity for professional development, and is an ideal platform for gaining high-level knowledge and practical experience in the field of drilling engineering.
Under the guidance of experienced SOCAR AQS specialists, the interns actively participated in various tasks and projects in accordance with their academic knowledge and interests. Samira Garibova, a student of the Faculty of Automation of Technological Processes at Baku Higher Oil School, Islam Mamamadov, a student of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Baku Engineering University, and Sadyk Jafarzade, a student of the Faculty of Automation of Technological Processes at ASOIU, who were interns of the Operations Support Department, took part in the internship program with great enthusiasm. They stated that they view the internship program at SOCAR AQS as an opportunity to get acquainted with drilling operations and develop in the professional environment here.
ADA University students Murad Salahli and Nuray Mammadova, who gained work experience in the departments of Procurement & Supply Chain and Finance, actively participated in various projects and demonstrated their ability to work effectively. Speaking about the SOCAR AQS Summer Internship Program, they noted that the working environment was very professional and supportive, where they were able to develop teamwork skills and effective communication skills.
We are proud of the exceptional work of all our talented interns throughout the programme. We thank the students who participated in our internship program for their successful work and meaningful contribution. We wish them success in their studies and future careers.
